
Turkmenistan Sparks Dialogue On Multilateral Co-Op At CIS Foreign Ministers' Meeting
The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, along with representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.
During the session, the ministers engaged in an in-depth exchange of views on various areas of cooperation within the Commonwealth framework. Key discussions focused on enhancing multilateral partnerships in political and diplomatic affairs, trade and economic relations, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation for the near future.
Later the same day, another high-level meeting took place in Almaty within the framework of the“Central Asia – Russia” format. The foreign ministers discussed prospects for expanding multilateral cooperation and reviewed the implementation of agreements made during the Summit of Heads of State. They also established concrete steps for developing mutually beneficial partnerships across areas of shared interest.
